Clinical Psychologist
Serving at the District Early Intervention Centre – Centre of Excellence (DEIC-COE). Responsible for psychological assessment and psychotherapy for infants, children, and adolescents with developmental and psychological conditions.
- Administers standardized clinical assessment tools (ISAA, Vineland, BKT, Malin’s, developmental scales) for Autism Spectrum, Intellectual Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, and ADHD.
- Parent guidance, psycho-education, and structured behavior modification programs for caregivers.
- Clinical supervisor and rotational mentor for postgraduate interns from the Department of Psychology, AMU.
Pediatric Cardiac Evaluation & Surgery Unit (PCE & CS Unit)
Daily clinical visits (8:00 AM to 9:30 AM) to the Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Unit for perioperative psychological care.
- Pre-surgical anxiety assessment and psychological preparedness for children undergoing cardiac interventions.
- Post-operative trauma management and distress reduction for vulnerable pediatric cardiac patients.
- Critical counseling, reassurance, and emotional coping strategies for parents and primary caregivers during surgical procedures.
