1. Clinical Scope & Informed Consent
By scheduling an appointment or engaging with services at MindBodySoul Care Centre, you confirm that you are voluntarily seeking psychological assessment, psychotherapeutic support, or psychoeducational guidance provided by Dr. Firdos Jahan (Ph.D. in Mindfulness, AMU).
Clinical psychology is a collaborative therapeutic endeavour. While interventions are evidence-informed (including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and psychometric assessments), psychological outcomes vary depending on individual participation, consistency, and clinical readiness. No guarantee of a specific cure is made or implied.
2. Appointments & Punctuality
Clinical consultations are dedicated, pre-scheduled sessions. In-clinic consultations are conducted at our centre located on Dr. Firdos Jahan, Flat No. 16, Ground Floor, NRI SAAC, Near Rainbow Roof 1st, Anupshahar Road, Aligarh UP 20200.
- Session Length: Standard individual therapy sessions are 45–50 minutes. Comprehensive diagnostic assessments, child developmental evaluations, and couple/family sessions range between 60 and 90 minutes.
- Punctuality: Clients are encouraged to arrive 5–10 minutes early. If a client arrives late, the session will conclude at the pre-scheduled time to preserve scheduling equity for subsequent appointments.
3. Professional Fees & Cancellation Policy
Our fee schedule is transparent and published under Consultation Fees. Fees are payable in INR via Cash, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), or direct Bank Transfer.
Notice Period: We require at least 12 hours' notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling requests. This courtesy permits another client in need to access that clinical slot.
Appointments cancelled with less than 12 hours' notice or missed without prior communication may be subject to a nominal rescheduling fee or deduction from advance bookings.
4. Tele-Psychology & Online Consultation Standards
MindBodySoul Care Centre provides remote video and audio consultations for clients residing outside Aligarh or unable to attend in person.
- Privacy Environment: The client is responsible for joining the remote session from a quiet, secure, private space free from eavesdropping or third-party interference.
- Recording Prohibition: For strict ethical and legal compliance, no audio or video recording of sessions may be made by the client or psychologist without written mutual consent.
- Technical Contingency: In the event of network disruption, the clinician will attempt to reconnect or follow up immediately via direct voice call on +91 98978 39544.
5. Psychiatric Emergencies & Crisis Protocol
CRITICAL NOTICE:
MindBodySoul Care Centre operates as an outpatient psychological practice. We do not provide 24/7 psychiatric emergency, inpatient psychiatric hospitalisation, or immediate crisis rescue services.

6. Confidentiality & Statutory Exceptions
Communications between client and psychologist are held in the strictest ethical confidence, as governed by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) guidelines and the Mental Healthcare Act, 2017. Details are outlined in our Privacy Policy.
By law and clinical ethics, exceptions to confidentiality occur exclusively under the following circumstances:
- Clear, imminent danger of serious physical harm to the client or another individual.
- Mandatory reporting of suspected child abuse, neglect, or exploitation under the POCSO Act.
- Subpoena or formal order issued by a competent court of law.
7. Self-Assessment Tools & Educational Content
The psychological screening tools (GAD-7, PHQ-9, PSS-10) provided on this website under Free Tests and articles in our Blog are intended solely for personal self-reflection and psychoeducation.
Automated scores do not constitute a definitive medical or psychiatric diagnosis. Formal diagnosis requires comprehensive clinical evaluation, history taking, and psychometric assessment with Dr. Firdos Jahan or a qualified physician.
8. Intellectual Property & Acceptable Use
All original clinical articles, developmental milestone charts, worksheets, graphics, brand marks, and site layouts are the proprietary intellectual property of MindBodySoul Care Centre and Dr. Firdos Jahan. Downloadable materials may be printed for personal, non-commercial therapeutic use only.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions and any therapeutic engagements conducted in-person or remotely are governed by the laws of India. Any legal dispute, claim, or proceeding arising out of or in connection with clinical services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the civil courts in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India.
